What is contractor reporting software?
Contractor reporting software turns the day-to-day records of a trade business, leads, estimates, jobs, invoices, and payments, into the numbers an owner runs on: what is booked, what is closing, who is selling, and where the cash is. Revcore's reports and dashboards read from the same live data your team works in, so there is nothing to export and no spreadsheet to rebuild at month end.
Because the lead, the estimate, and the payment share one record, the reports can follow a job all the way through. You can see close rate and average job size by lead source and by rep, and the money view shows cash flow, AR aging, and payouts together.
The point is to change a decision, not to admire a chart. Reports answer the questions an owner asks on a Monday: which lead source to spend more on, which rep needs a ride-along, whether the receivables are getting older, and whether there is cash for the next material order. Any report can be exported to PDF for a lender, a bookkeeper, or a partner meeting.
Which plan includes it
The reporting dashboard is on every plan. Reporting depth grows with the plan.
Starter includes the reporting dashboard with revenue, pipeline, close rate, and jobs by stage, plus a full data export for the bookkeeper. Pro adds per-rep and per-crew performance reports. Scale adds custom reports, marketing attribution, and QuickBooks Online import, so you see which sources become paid jobs.

Do I have to export data to see reports?
No. Reports and dashboards are built on live Revcore data, so sales, cash flow, and team numbers are always current without exporting anything or rebuilding a spreadsheet. When a job is signed or a payment lands, the numbers move with it.
What should a contractor track every month?
At minimum: leads by source, booked estimates, close rate, average job size, revenue collected, and overdue receivables. Together they tell you whether marketing is working, whether sales is converting, and whether the cash is actually arriving. Revcore reports on each of them from the same records your team already keeps.
What does the money dashboard show?
Cash flow, AR aging, and payouts together, so you can see what is collected, what is still owed and how late, and when deposits land in your account. Overdue balances are grouped by how late they are, so the ones turning into bad debt stand out before month end.
Can I see performance by rep or crew?
Yes, on Pro and Scale. Compare reps and crews on close rate, revenue, and output, so coaching and bonuses are based on real results rather than impressions.
Can I see which lead sources make money?
Yes. Because the lead, the estimate, and the payment share one record, reports can group bookings and revenue by lead source, not just leads by source. That shows the source that fills the board but never closes.
Can I build custom reports?
Custom reports are included on Scale. Every plan has the reporting dashboard, and Pro adds per-rep and per-crew performance.
Can I export reports to PDF?
Yes. Any report can be exported to a clean PDF for your lender, your bookkeeper, or your own records, in a couple of clicks. That is useful when a bank asks for a pipeline or receivables summary alongside your financial statements.
Does it replace my accounting software?
No. Revcore reports on the operating side of the business: sales, jobs, invoices, and payments. Your bookkeeper still keeps the books. Every plan can download a full export of its data for the bookkeeper. On Scale, Revcore imports your QuickBooks Online customers and invoices; sending invoices and payments to QuickBooks is not live yet.
