How to import customers and jobs from your old tool

Switching tools should not mean losing your history. The RevCore Pro importer brings your customers, contacts, and open jobs across in one pass, so your crew keeps working without a gap. Most teams finish a full migration in under an hour.
Before you start
Export your data from your current tool as a CSV. Almost every platform, including Jobber, JobNimbus, and ServiceTitan, can export a customer list and a jobs list. If you can only export one file, start with customers, then add jobs after.
- A customers CSV with name, email, phone, and address columns.
- A jobs CSV with the customer name or email so records can be matched.
- Admin access in RevCore Pro, since importing is an owner or admin action.
Run the import
- 1Go to Settings, Data, Import and choose Customers or Jobs.
- 2Drag your CSV into the upload box. We scan the first rows and show a preview.
- 3Map each column to a RevCore Pro field. We auto-match common headers like Email and Phone, so usually you only adjust a couple.
- 4Pick how to handle duplicates. We match on email first, then phone, so existing records update instead of doubling up.
- 5Click Run import. You can keep working while it finishes in the background.
Import customers first and let it finish, then import jobs. That way every job lands on the right customer record automatically.
After the import
Open Customers and spot-check a handful of records, especially addresses, since clean addresses make scheduling and local pricing more accurate. Any rows we could not place are listed on the import summary with the reason, so you can fix and re-upload just those.
