Is FieldPulse worth the price?

FieldPulse is field service management software for service trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, garage door, locksmith, and septic, covering scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoices, payments, and maintenance agreements. Pricing is seat-based and quote-only: you buy a set number of seats upfront for a contract term, and FieldPulse does not publish prices or offer a free trial. Two-way texting through its Engage phone system, Dynamic Proposals, Operator AI, and fleet tracking are optional add-ons priced separately.

What FieldPulse does well

  • Broad service-trade toolset: dispatch, maintenance agreements, customer portal, job costing, and inventory
  • Customizable workflows, fields, roles, and reports
  • Field app with offline mode
  • Financing, Tap to Pay on iPhone, and next-business-day deposits through its own payments product
  • Integrations with QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Zapier, CompanyCam, and an open API

Where it falls short

  • No published prices and no free trial
  • Seats are bought upfront for a contract term
  • Two-way texting (Engage), proposals, and AI tools are separately priced add-ons
  • No interactive in-home presentation; proposals are a branded document in the Sales Suite add-on

Who FieldPulse is priced for

FieldPulse is a good fit for

  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other service trades with office and field staff
  • Teams that want to customize workflows, fields, roles, and reports
  • Businesses that sell maintenance agreements and want recurring visits and invoices automated

It is a weaker fit for

  • Buyers who want to see a price or try the software before a sales call
  • Small crews that want texting and proposals included without add-ons
  • Contractors who close larger jobs with an interactive in-home presentation

FieldPulse pricing, common questions

How much does FieldPulse cost?

FieldPulse does not publish prices. It sells 2 plans (Core platform and Premium products (add-ons)), priced per seat, with seats purchased upfront for the contract term, quoted by its sales team, so ask for a written quote that lists every product and fee.

Does FieldPulse charge per user?

FieldPulse does not publish a separate per-user fee. Check the plan table above for users included per tier.

Is there a cheaper alternative to FieldPulse?

Revcore Pro starts at $249/mo with 3 full seats, $599/mo for 7, and $1,199/mo for 15, with unlimited free field crew seats and two-way texting on every plan and a 14-day free trial of Scale. Whether it is cheaper depends on your crew size; the table above shows both side by side.

Does FieldPulse have a free trial?

No. FieldPulse's pricing FAQ says it does not offer a free trial and offers a demo built around your trade instead. Revcore offers a 14-day trial of its Scale plan with no credit card required.

Is FieldPulse pricing on review sites accurate?

FieldPulse says no. Its pricing FAQ states that estimated prices on third-party sites are not verified by FieldPulse and will not reflect what your team would pay, so a quote is the number to rely on.
