AC repair

AC died on a Tuesday morning with the heat index at 104. I called at 9, Marcus was here by 1. Bad capacitor, fixed in 40 minutes, and he showed me photos of the old part. The price he quoted was exactly what I paid.

Response from the owner

Danielle, thank you. Marcus mentioned how hot it was upstairs when he arrived, and we are glad he got you cool before the afternoon peak.

New system

We replaced both systems in our Skybrook house. The advisor measured every room and actually recommended a smaller upstairs unit than we had. He was right. The bonus room is finally comfortable and our July bill dropped noticeably. Install crew was tidy and done in a day and a half.

Air quality

Our basement always smelled musty. Tasha measured humidity in every room, found it was sitting around 64 percent downstairs, and explained why before recommending anything. The whole-home dehumidifier made a huge difference within a week. No more damp towels.

Response from the owner

Priya, thank you for the kind words about Tasha. She loves a good humidity puzzle, and we are glad the basement finally feels dry.

Comfort Club

Been in the Comfort Club three years. Last August our upstairs unit quit on a Saturday and they had someone here that afternoon with no overtime charge. The spring and fall tune-ups get scheduled for me, which I would never remember on my own.

Ductwork

We live in a 1938 house in Dilworth and the back bedroom was always 8 degrees warmer. Andre crawled under the house and found two ducts completely disconnected. He sent me photos from the crawl space before and after. Room is finally even with the rest of the house.

Heat pump

Switched our old AC to a heat pump and kept the gas furnace as backup. Luis explained the changeover setting in plain English and set it up on the thermostat for us. First winter bill came in lower than last year even with that cold week in January.

Response from the owner

Thank you, Nathaniel. Dual fuel is a great fit for Baxter Village homes, and Luis will be glad to hear the January bill came in lower.

Comfortable again, today.
